When people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I’d tell them a nomad… or an architect.
The follow is a cross section of tents & shelters I’ve worked on.
Process
It starts with a sketch, but quickly moves into a full scale mock of the pole set. The lion share of the tent design is in the frame. And it’s a balance of form, function, ease of use, & cost.
